Local Collaboration and Support Plan

SCS can address all the needs of International firms and assist in penetrating the local market, whether the targeted business lines are:
  • Government related Contracting and Construction works
    OR

  • Trading and other Consumer related contracts and works

Whether the client chooses to collaborate with SCS on a consultancy basis, or as an agency and representation office, or as a full fledged business partner, SCS offers a Cooperation and Assistance Plan which may be divided into 3 phases, depending on the client's needs:

  1. Phase One – information and market knowledge (For both, Contracting  and Trading Works)
     

    During this phase, SCS collects locally on behalf of its clients, all relevant information and market knowledge relating to prospects, opportunities and projects of common interest, and then passing such information to the International client for evaluation.

     

    Specifically, SCS can assist in this phase by offering the following:
     

    • Informational support
       

      • Potential customers prospecting, evaluation and reporting

      • Government Tenders and projects information follow up, monitoring and reporting

      • General market studies and research

      • General evaluation and information gathering on competitors or  selected products

      • Investment/ new business feasibility studies

      • Partnership prospecting and evaluation.
         

    • Logistical support
       

      • Local Public Relations, contacts, and follow up of specific targeted group of people

      • Office Space

      • Secretarial Services

      • Telecommunications facilities

      • Airport pickup

      • Hotel reservations
         

  2. Phase Two – Tendering and/or bidding (For Contracting and Construction works)

    In the event of participation in a bidding or a tendering process, whether on a consultancy, representation, joint venture, assignment and/or subcontract basis, SCS can assist by providing, in addition to the services listed in phases 1 above, with all the technical, administrative and legal information as may be needed for the proper evaluation and bidding of said prospects.

    SCS can in addition assist by fully participating, from a local perspective, in the projects evaluation, costing and tendering submission, in coordination with the client, and by providing local information crucial to Pricing, including but not limited to:
     

    • Local regulations and customs advice

    • Legal advice

    • Accounting advice

    • Procurement advice, for materials, equipment & labor

    • Sub-contractor evaluation and background information verification

    • Suppliers pre-selection and recommendations

    • and much more.

       

  3. Phase III – Execution 
     

    This phase starts after both SCS and the client have been awarded a contract or after having reached an Agreement in respect of a Common project.

     

    During this Phase, SCS can also assist in the successful execution and delivery of the a project, in addition to the services listed in phases 1 and 2 above, as follows:
     

    • Management and Administrative support
       

      • Establishment and setting up of the client’s Local legal entity.

      • Overall project management and contract administration

      • Documentation of systems and procedures, adjusted to local norms

      • Quality control parameters definition, adjusted to local norms
         

    • Operational support
       

      • Machinery and equipment sourcing and selection

      • Suppliers sourcing and selection

      • Sub-contractors sourcing and selection

      • Site evaluation and selection

      • Plant mounting, erection and over viewing

      • Production process implementation and supervision
         

    • Human Resources support
       

      • Staff and labor recruitment, with special attention to Senior and Top management staff

      • Labor outsourcing  

      • Training and development in several areas, as needed, including General Management, marketing, sales, finance, people effectiveness, and time management

      • and much more.
         

Trading and Consumer related works
 

In respect of Trading business opportunities and other Consumer related contracts and works, SCS also provides its clients with all the relevant services listed in phases 2 and 3 above.

 

Most importantly, the Middle East can be logically viewed as a group of various different regions of Arabic speaking countries. As such, SCS can assist by helping to establish a distribution network through one or more of the following methods:

  • Directly through SCS group of affiliated or related companies

  • By localizing, and appointing, one or more local specialized distributor

  • Through interested and qualified franchisees

By having a local presence in several countries in the Middle East, SCS continues to coordinate with its International clients by:

  • Assisting the local distributors

  • Monitoring local sales growth

  • Providing continuous reporting to its clients

  • Giving SCS clients more freedom and flexibility to monitor the volume of sales and the selected target end users, while maintaining a supervisory eye on the image used to present and to promote their products and services.
